Itinerary

Christchurch - Akaroa (dolphin watching)

9:00 AM: Pick up from Christchurch and drive to Akaroa. On the way, we will visit the Little River Railway Station, which used to be the most popular spot for Christchurch residents traveling to Akaroa. Explore and learn about the history of this charming location.

11:00 AM: Arrive in Akaroa, where your tour guide will show you around the picturesque seaside town. Stroll down Rue Jolie or Rue Lavaud, visit the Akaroa Lighthouse, and enjoy some free time for a snack or lunch at local restaurants.

12:45 PM: Embark on a 2-hour dolphin cruise. This incredible experience will bring you close to some of the world’s rarest and friendliest dolphins. Watch them swim alongside the boat and leap into the air to greet you.

3:00 PM: Relax with afternoon tea, including biscuits, tea, and coffee. Enjoy the serene atmosphere of the harbour before heading back to Christchurch. On the way, we’ll stop at the breathtaking Hilltop Lookout Point for stunning views.

5:00 PM: Drop-off at your accommodation.
