Travel from Taupo to Rotorua to visit Te Puia, located in the Te Whakarewarewa Geothermal Valley, where you’ll encounter hot springs, mud pools, and geysers. Follow a local expert as they guide you through the landscape, highlighting the largest geyser in the North Island, Pohutu.

Next, visit the Kiwi House Bird Enclosure to learn about New Zealand’s iconic kiwi birds and conservation efforts to protect them. You’ll have the chance to observe these unique birds in a darkened enclosure. Take a short walk to the Ahua Gallery, where you can see Maori carving and weaving demonstrations. Then, immerse yourself in Māori culture by enjoying a Haka performance, followed by a delicious Hāngī buffet lunch to conclude the experience

In the afternoon, visit Agrodome Sheep Farm. Get ready for entertainment and education with the legendary Farm Show! You will enjoy amazing facts and plenty of laughs as you’re introduced to 19 breeds of sheep.
